CAMEL TOURS

One of the unique things of the desert is the quietness. Many people are so used to noise, that they don’t know what silence can be like. A great way to see a lot of the desert ánd to enjoy the silence is on the back of a camel.

Unlike horses, camels are very easy to manage. Although they are very big, they are very friendly animals and they make little noise. The basis technique of camel riding is easy and within an hour or so, you will be guiding your camel all by yourself and you will have a great feeling of independence. The guide will only keep leading the rein if you are unhappy about being in charge of the camel.

You don’t need special clothing for riding a camel, just something that is comfortable. You can wear shoes or sandals if you wish but going barefoot gives you an even greater sense of freedom.
